Is there any effective treatment which helps to get rid of cellulite? Reduction of cellulite and fatty cells is a special interest of many women who try many treatment types to achieve body slimming effect. These include various products: creams e.g neutrogena, Roc retinol, lumicell, synergie, Vichy or Elizabeth Arden; surgical and non-surgical procedures e.g. laser, mesotherapy, massages, ionithermie; home made natural or herbal products or visiting spas or clinics which provide the best cellulite equipment and make achievements of astonishing results possible. New anticellulite treatments are always the top interest of many women.

Cellulite or in other words "orange peel effect" - these are fat cells closed within the fibers which should be cleansed by body fluids. If a person has got poor circulation all toxic materials accumulate, they become thick and form hard pockets of fat. This causes feeling of tight and heavy legs, sometimes when legs are pressed or massaged people feel pain. This should not be treated as a disease but rather as a sign of unhealthy lifestyle. Unfortunately for cellulite owners there are no quick solutions for this condition and although there are plenty of products: gels, creams and pills which intend to remove cellulite but skin dimpling is very difficult to cure. Since the condition affects mostly women who are concerned about their skin condition they are in constant search for a product which will help them get rid of cellulite. apparently, even the most devoted dieters and exercisers fight with cellulite on their hips, thighs and buttocks.

How should a good cellulite treatment look like?

The condition demands complete and sophisticated care of your skin and body as well as overall treatment which improving blood flow. There are several steps you should take if you want to have visible effects and reduce cellulite.

1. Anti Cellulite Cream

Good anticellulite creams should contain several substances which stimulate blood flow e.g. caffeine, retinol (should be used at night), AHA, aminophylline. These substances are added to creams to reduce bumpy, dimpling cellulite, break fat cells into acids, improve skin texture, remove death cells and above all, improve its condition. But they don't remove the "orange-peel" it only reduces it.

2. Cellulite Diet

Lymph nodes and blood flow could be improved by the special diet which will detoxify your body. This means that you have to quit fatty foods, junk or salty meals. The amount of fat consumed should be limited to the minimum, so steam meat or grill it instead of frying. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables, drink herbal tea and avoid caffeine coffee (causes poor blood circulation and builds-up toxins). You should remember to drink at least 2 liters of mineral water daily and reduce the amount of alcohol or sweets you eat (they slow down circulation of blood vessels). Quitting smoking is essential to detoxify your body, you can help yourself by drinking a glass of hot water with fresh lemon squeezed in it in the morning immediately after getting up. Eat soy foods, blueberries and nuts, onions, avocados, oily fish, bananas, oat cereals, broccoli, asparagus or pears. They are all very good for combating cellulite.

3. Exercise

Exercising is crucial for cellulite treatment as it keeps your muscles toned and improves blood circulation. The best type of exercising are those which concentrate on thighs and buttocks. All other types of sports are better than anything else: yoga, pilates, swimming, walking or biking is also good for fighting with cellulite.

4. Massage

Pressure done on skin, massages stimulate cells, eliminate skin dryness and help to remove toxins and any fatty deposits which create skin dimpling.

5. Liposuction

It is a surgery procedure which intends to create a better body contour and extract fat from cells under skin. This type of treatment may make cellulite worse as liposuction sucks large amount of fats so they create an "orange-peel" look of skin. This procedure demands general anesthesia and you should choose the surgeon very carefully, it also poses some risks so you should think it over carefully and consult several practitioners before you make the final decision.

6. Endermologie

It is a procedure which is non-surgical, it lasts from 30 to 45 minutes and it is essential to make it 1 or 2 times a week until the desired skin condition is achieved. The procedure involves the use of certain suctions which provide intense massage that breaks down fat cells. The main purpose of the endermologie is to increase blood circulation. You can take part in other maintenance sessions which will make the effect long-lasting. The more you exercise the better the results you will achieve.

7. Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is considered to be the best way to treat cellulite available nowadays. Mesotherapy involves injecting certain doses of medication into the specific body areas. This is done to make fat cells smaller with some nutritional supplements. The appropriate formula is created for different stages of development. This type of treatment poses some slight risks such as burning, skin discoloration, risk of infection, skin soreness or swelling.
