Is creation of the love pill possible? The new research proves we will soon be able to use them.

Is love a metaphysical feeling or just a chemistry that makes us work? Professor Larry Young from Emory University in Atlanta opts for the second answer. He also proves that we can create a love pill just by analyzing biochemical processes which occur in human organism.
What will it contain? An American biochemists believes it should contain oxytocin - a hormone which plays a crucial role during labor (is responsible for womb contractions) and breast-feeding. It turns out that it affects also emotional life of mammals. The research performed on microtus which is a classical monogamous animal. They combine in pairs and create life-long relationships growing their offspring together. Their behavior can be easily changed - it's enough to spray oxytocin into the nose and animals begin to be interested in other males/females than their partners. If the level of oxytocin is reduced, microtus will be unable to create long-lasting relationship even though it has already began.
Obviously, oxytocin works similarly on people. Those with oxytocin sprayed into the nose trust people better and are more susceptible to their emotions, Larry Young claims. Oxytocin sprays may help in therapies of married couples. However, its primary use is to soothe effects of autism which impairs social activity in people.
