Scientists are working on a drug that helps your body defeat arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis medicine can help people combat the illness.

This drug works like a vaccine which increases the body's defense mechanisms, that may bring a revolution in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The vaccination is supposed to dampen down the inflammation in the joints by stimulating molecules in the body. Tests performed on animals proved that drug helps reduce pain and swelling of the joints. Human studies are supposed to start soon. Scientists also hope that the drug will help cure other incurable conditions, e.g. diabetes or irritable bowel disease. It will be effective for auto-immune diseases, in which a person's immune system attacks its own healthy tissue by mistake. It would be a very helpful drug which could save thousands of people from inconveniences of living with the disease.
