How to quit smoking for good? People try breaking up cigarettes and find many reasons for not doing it. What are the most common explanations for not quitting cigarettes?

Giving up smoking isn't easy, everyone would admit. However, some people tend to delay quitting for various reasons. A study presented at the UK National Smoking Cessation Conference in London shows the most common arguments for continuing smoking.
People believe and convince themselves that they don't quit smoking because they don't spend much on cigarettes which relieve their stress. However, you should remember that in the current economic situation saving even the smallest amount annually is advisable. Apart from that, there are much better ways to relieve stress than smoking e.g. exercise, yoga, fresh air. Money saved could be spent on massages or relaxation course.
Another reason why people keep on smoking is the fact that they believe it costs a lot to quit. Some of the medications, patches and chewing gums can simply be prescribed by doctors, so if you want to get them for free, just visit your doctor. Some poeple claim patches don't work but they don't want to try another type of patch that would work for them. Smokers tend to underestimate the strength of the patch they need.
The same happens to chewing gums, because a 20-a-day smoker needs at least 15 pieces of chewing gum each day. People tend not to chew enough gum every day.You can combine the treatments: use patches and chewing gum together.
