How to reduce the bags under your eyes? Some people wake up with more tired eyes than before going to bed. Puffy eyes, eye bags, dark circles and shadows are the most common conditions people suffer from. How to cope with eye puffiness?

It is not a problem of only older women, 20-year-olds also suffer from this problem. And it may only get worse. Some people decide to have cosmetic surgery, however, there are several things we can do to cope with puffines, dark circels etc. Experts claim that puffiness is the natural aging process, fat under the eyes is held by ligaments which get weaker with time. The result - puffy pillow under our eyes. The skin looses elasticity and allows to form bags.
It's all blamed on genetics - some people tend to develop bags sooner than others. The truth is that we our lifestyle choices also make us develop eye problems soon. For instance, salty snacks which retain water, avoiding exercise or cheating yourself of sleep, nasal, sinus conditions or an allergy.
What to do?
Cold takes down the swelling and tea bags which contain anti-inflammatory chemical which reduces fluid build-up. Specialists claim that injectable wrinkle fillers help, botox also makes eyes look younger, but these methods are costly. However, nothing beats surgical eye lift which melts the fat and pull up the excess skin. The results are astonishing.
Dark circles and shadows too make person look tired, worn-out and older. Muscles and ligaments close to the eye become weak over the time, the skin begins to collapse and create a kind of "gutter" effect. Dark shadows are mistaken with dark circles and they can also be treated in the same way as bags and puffiness.
If you pull your under-eye skin and the color remains dark it means you have true dark circles caused by discoloration. The skin becomes thinner and thinner with time. The thin skin reveal reddish-blue blood vessels underneath. The most common solution is to use a special laser treatment which vaporizes extra vessels and makes the color less noticeable. Skin-lightening treatments may also help, so treatments with hydroquinone or kojic acid help to even out the skin color.
