Eating popcorn is good for your health. Popcorn is healthier than you may think.

New research suggests popcorn can prevent from cancer. This snack contains loads of antioxidants called polyphenols. They are usually present in fruit and vegetables and they reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. Scientists are surprised to discover so high levels of polyphenols, probably because it isn't processed. This means popcorn is healthy. After measuring the levels of polyphenols in breakfast cereal it turned out that popcorn has the most, even more than wholegrain cereals or porridge oats.
