Gossip is good - women who chat and gossip are happier and healthier. Even though men believe women talk about others too much they have to accept the fact that it makes them good.

Scientists claim gossiping makes women healthier because it boosts levels of progesterone, a hormone which lowers the amount of anxiety and stress. And above all, it makes women happier through creating social bonding. The research has been performed on 160 female students who worked in pairs, they were supposed to ask and answer questions designed in such a way that it brought them closer together. It turned out that the more chatty questions they asked, the higher progesterone levels were noticed. Progesterone is a hormone which reduces anxiety and stress. This is another link found between biological mechanisms and human behavior. It's yet another proof that people who are in close relationships with others are healthier, happier and live longer than those socially isolated.
