U.S. scientists try a new device which could warn someone if he or she is about to have a heart attack. Is it possible for AngelMed Guardian to save lives?

How does it do that?
This small gadget vibrates when it notices any changes to the heart's electrical pattern. The device sends a message to the patient's pager he should carry all the time with him and it beeps to inform that the danger appears. The gadget is called AngelMed Guardian and it is able to warn several hours or days before they really get ill. This means that such a small item is able to save lives and reduce the death toll from heart disease.
The main cause of death is that people postpone seeking help and ignoring warning signs. This could be especially good for poeple who already had heart attack and therefore are at risk of another one. The machine is implanted underneath the collar bone on the left side of the chest, it is connected with the right ventricle, the end of the wire has an electrode which is surgically attached to the heart muscle. We still have to wait for the gadget to be approved.
