All body massage types are perfect therapy for relieving stress but you have to decide which is the best. Choose the appropriate therapist and enjoy stress relieving massage as often as you can.

Massages are done to relieve from stress, tension and anxiety. They are intended to reduce muscle stiffness, cramps by series of motions: stroking your body, kneading it, patting and slapping. Massages stimulate mental and physical healing as they affect both the massaged body part and lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is responsible for removing wastes from the organism and protecting it from all kinds of infections so its good condition is crucial for health. Every massage can easily be called a treatment for both physical and psychological therapy. All types of massages are supposed to release stress and relax the body even though they vary greatly. If we look at massages from the perspective of origin we could categorize them into western (Swedish, tissue therapy) and eastern massages (shiatsu, acupressure). It is good to read about them to choose style which suits you best. The acupressure massage derives from Chinese medicine, Chinese doctors believed that Qi (life force) should flow throughout all organs, if any of them is blocked various illnesses may appear. Unblocking the flow of the life energy and restoration of harmony are the main purposes of acupressure.
Swedish Massage Therapy
This name refers to several techniques which intend to relax muscles by applying pressure on them. It is expected to improve the blood and oxygen flow and remove toxins from the body. It is perfect for stress management, circulation improvement and if taken regularly helps to cope with everyday duties more effectively. To reduce friction therapists apply oil, cream or lotion - the motions are slow, long and flowing. Swedish massage boosts circulation, reduces swelling and minimizes effects of stress.
Aromatherapy Massage
This is a massage which uses essential oils for body and skin treatment. It was discovered and used thousands years age by Egyptians or Greeks to improve blood circulation and help to relax and heal injuries or cuts. The whole room where aromatherapy massage takes place is filled with a scent of different combinations of oils. Each oil has its own properties and causes different effects on human body. The scents of oils may act as stress reducers, energizers or relaxants.
Hot Stone Massage
The massage involves using hot, smooth stones which are placed on several body points to warm up muscles, relax them and balance the energy centers. The therapists apply pressure on them and this way the muscles are loose and relaxed.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a form of massage which concentrates on deeper layers of body muscles which uses slow strokes and finger pressure to press the areas which are chronically stiff and tense. The difference is that friction is applied across the grain of the muscles which intends to eliminate the tension. Although patients may feel pain right after the massage it improves the quality of life after several days. It is an ancient art of healing for which therapists use fingers to press key skin points responsible for self-curative properties of our bodies. On pressure these points enhance blood circulation and force your body to help heal a particular condition. Although using hands seems to be too delicate it is still one of the most effective method of reducing problems related to tension. It is perfect to relieve headaches, eye strains, insomnia, depression, toothache, menstrual pains, problems with sinuses, various aches and pains of the back and muscles, or even constipation and indigestion. Acupressure can help relieve anxiety and improve sleep. When you begin self-acupressure therapy you will immediately feel relaxed, blood circulation will improve. Reflexology
Therapy where feet and hands are massaged with the purpose of providing balance and harmony of body with spirit.
