How to fight fatigue? The article presents six ways to boost your energy levels and fight off fatigue. We usually face fatigue at around 3 p.m., our body feels like a car that's out of gas. What to do then to make yourself running throughout the day?

Even your workday finishes at around 4 p.m. you probably have plenty of other tasks to do - picking up kids, cook dinner, help your children with their housework, feed and walk the dog, catch up on bills and do some housework. It's hard to do everything especially when you suffer from fatigue.
There are several solutions to your problem, either to boost your energy levels for a short time or long-time remedies. Those long-term bring more benefits in the long run.
1. Good food
You may think that a sweet sugary bar will boost your energy, and it will, but only for an hour or so. Later on, you'll feel dragged as much as earlier. If you need longer energy boost, eat a snack that contains protein and complex carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates can be found in whole grain products, they increase your blood glucose levels in a more stable way.
2. High-fiber breakfast
Eat high-fiber breakfast which is rich in carbohydrates and you will be alert at all times of the day.
3. Have a break
Take a short break for a few minutes during the day and you will fight off fatigue. In addition to that, you'll be more efficient and get more done. a short break that lasts no longer than 5-10 minutes boosts your energy levels immediately. After a short study, it turned out that computer workers who have several short breaks during the day were more productive and less fatigued than the rest of the staff. They were reported to work faster and more accurately than their co-workers who didn't take breaks.
4. Get moving
Walking can make you energized, it's enough to take a 10-minute walk to fight off fatigue and it's definitely better than a sugar infusion. Walking increases the energy for two hours while eating a sugar snack leaves you more tired and less energetic after an hour.
5. Meditate
You don't have to light the candles, sit cross-legged or say mantra. Even the smallest meditation techniques can make wonders for your body. So calm yourself down and stop rushing. Take several short meditation breaks during the day, and you will get the instant energy boost.
6. Meet with positive people
Try to surround yourself with positive people whenever it's possible and your life energy levels will increase with time. Avoiding stress can make wonders as well because stress consumes plenty of energy you'd like o save for yourself. When you feel tired and dizzy during somebody's presence it's the most probable sign someone makes you tense and stressed. Try to avoid such people and you should feel better.
