5 Most fattening foods ever. This article presents foods super-high in calories which are the worst foods ever. A large burrito, a huge burger rich in more calories than you need for two days, a deep-fried banana. The two restaurants Heart Attack Grill in Arizona and Mel's Country Cafe in Texas are known for their enormous portions that provide thousands of calories. Still, customers are attracted by these huge meals.

According to Jayne Hurley who is a senior nutritionist for Center for Science in the Public Interest, restaurant foods are getting worse and worse every day. As she claims fifteen years ago she was shocked to see that fettuccine Alfredo contains 1,500, now it takes 2,000-3,000 to shock her. So what are the worst fattening foods?
The list was created by Marisa Moore and Lona Sandon from American Dietetic Association.
1. Mel's Country Cafe in Texas serves Mega Mel Burger which consists 1.5 pound of ground beef, a pound of bacon, 1/4 pound of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and a huge bun. Calorie intake? 4,556 calories.
2. Fifth Third in Michigan offers the Fifth Third Burger which amount to 4,800 calories. It includes five beef patties, five slices of cheese, chili, salsa and corn chips in a huge bun.
3. Jack n Grills in Denver offer a 7-pound burrito which is filled with onions, cheese, potatoes, chiles, ham and eggs - it provides 3,764 calories to your organism. A woman who manages to eat this meal without a break of going to the bathroom can get free meals at the restaurant for the rest of their life.
4. Shake Shack, a modern roadside burger in New York offers a deep-fried Portobello mushroom with cheese put between two cheeseburgers on a bun. This burger gives you 1,500 calories.
5. Another meal worth mentioning is the Fried Banana Split served at Texas State Fair. Banana and honey peanut butter are rolled into balls, battered, and deep fried. They are served with powdered sugar, caramel, chocolate syrup, peanuts, ice-cream, whipped cream and a cherry. It totals 2,000 calories and loads of saturated fat.
Most of people won't eat such high-calorie meals, but is occasional indulgence dangerous? Once or twice a year could make no difference for your health, but if you indulge in such meals more often you can be in trouble. American people are obese, two thirds of adults in the United States suffer from obesity. Eating foods high in calories is the easiest way to gain weight. And obesity leads to such diseases as cancers, heart disease or diabetes. If you eat high-calorie foods regularly you risk having stroke, obesity, heart disease and plenty of these preventable diseases.
If you are tempted by the worst foods try to eat less caloric, still similar items. Sometimes you dream about gigantic portions and instead of monster French fries, bacon, cheese or burgers you can choose a big green salad. In fairs and ballparks opt for delicious foods lower in calories e.g. pita breads with vegetables and grilled meats. Don't eat such food for breakfast, you will feel worn out for the rest of the day, opt for fresh fruit, whole-grain toast and one egg.
And above all, remember that "extreme eating" is risky for your health, it can cause emotional problems such as eating disorder. Avoid places with mega portions of meals, opt for eating at home.
