Description of disease:
 Sunburn is a condition in which the skin is damaged by UV rays, if sunburn is severe damage affects tissues that are placed much deeper.
Extensive sunburns that cause systemic burn shock may even lead to patient's death. The disease is caused by excessive exposure to sun rays. Skin becomes red, sensitive and covered with blisters instead of getting beautiful tan. Fair-skinned people are much more exposed to such sunburns as their skin has small amounts of melanin which protects skin from sun rays.
Places with frequent sunburns are more likely to develop malignant melanomas in the future.
