/ Stomach Ulcer

Description of disease:
 Stomach ulcer is a small erosion in the gastrointestinal tract caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria. It is the most common disease affecting stomach because 5 to 10% of adults suffer from stomach ulcers.
Duodenal ulcer is treated with a special diet, so it is advisable to quit smoking, avoid alcohol, stress; some drugs are also forbidden for people with peptic ulcers. The most important in the treatment is getting rid of Helicobacter pylori bacteria responsible for the disease, using H2-blockers, proton pump blockers. If the problems mentioned don't help, peptic ulcer needs to be surgically removed.
Symptoms:
