/ Pityriasis Rosea

Description of disease:
 Pityriasis rosea is a skin condition with mild course. It is characterized by red scaly patches of skin on your limbs and trunk.
The disease is common among children and teenagers, especially during winter. The cause of pityriasis rosea is unknown.
In the early stage of the disease the skin gets pale pink round scaly spot that isn't bigger than several centimeters. After 6 to 10 days the rash spreads into hands, feet and trunk. The disease usually lasts 4-6 weeks and recedes without any treatment necessary.
