Description of disease:

Nephrotic syndrome is caused by the loss of protein, albominuria. Albominuria is the first sign of the disease, more than 50mg/kg/d of white blood cells are found in urine, the lowered (less than 2.5 mg/d) albumin concentration (this is a group of proteins produced by liver that diffuse in water, they appear in plasma) in serum. There are cases of swollen limbs and hyperlipidose.
The main causes are: diabetes, gestosis, nephritis, cancers, chronic hepatitis B and C, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, lupus erythematosus, reaction to some medicines.
The disease occurs in people of all ages and both genders.

Symptoms:


ascites
blepharo-edema
foamy urine
polydipsia (increased thirst)
stomach ache
swelling legs
vomiting
