/ Malignant Ovarian Cancer

Description of disease:
 Malignant ovarian cancer develops from the tissue on the ovary. It is frequently diagnosed in women around, before and after the menopause.
Risk factors include:
- infertility
- endometriosis
- ovulation stimulation
- hyperesthrogenism
- hyperandrogenism
- needle inserts into ovaries
- mumps
- age (older women are at higher risk)
- obesity
- tobacco smoking
- Lynch II syndrome
- previous cancer
- lack of previous pregnancies
Preventive measures:
- tubal ligation
- long-lasting hormone therapy
- pregnancies
- breastfeeding
At first, the disease does not give any symptoms, they occur when the tumor grows into 7cm. That is why it is discovered in a late stage.
Symptoms:

abdominal pain central obesity upper belly pains, any uterine bleeding not related to menstruation
