Description of disease:
 Infertility is an inability to get pregnant despite trying for at least one year without the use of contraceptives.
The factors that cause male infertility are:
- genetic disorders
- cancers of testicles
- idiopatic hypofunction
- cryptorchism
- varicocele
- hydrocele
- injuries to the testicles
- testicles injury after certain illnesses e.g. mumps
Systemic diseases:
- diabetes
- thyroid diseases
- hypoplasia of male gonads
- hypopituitarism
- psychological problems
- impotency
Other causes of the male infertility:
- prostatitis
- male mission
- hypospadia
- drug or alcohol abuse
- anti tumor medications
