/ Lymphoma

Description of disease:
 Lymphoma is a term describing many different diseases of immune system and lymphocytes. It is characterized by the development of abnormal cancerous lymphocytes. The most common types include:
- Hodgkin's lymphoma
- mature B neoplasm
- chronic lymphocytic leukemia
- plasma cell myoma
- splenic marginal zone lymphoma
The lymphomas are divided into two groups:
- Hodgkin's lymphoma (can be treated if diagnosed in an early stadium)
- non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
At the beginning, the disease does not develop any symptoms. It can be diagnosed through pathomorfological tests conducted on the abnormal tissue.
The usual course of treatment involves chemotherapy.
Symptoms:

abdominal pain dry cough dyspnea, breathlessness excessive sweating fever lymph glands, enlarged tiredness, feeling of weakness weight loss
