Description of disease:
 Cervical dysplasia is also called a preinvasive carcinoma or intracellular cervical neoplasm.
This is a state that precedes invasive cervical carcinoma.
The disease does not give any typical symptoms, if they appear they are caused by an accompanying infection. It is important to diagnose the smear from cervix in the pap smear test.
