Description of disease:

Small bowel cancer is a very rare type of cancer for which only traditional treatment is used, no chemical treatment can be prescribed. Surgical operation is usually needed. Small bowel cancer occurs more frequently among men rather than women and the risk of developing small bowel cancer increases with age. People over 60 are at the highest risk.
