Description of disease:

Bulimia is a disease in which a person has got a huge appetite and eats plenty of meals and large amounts of foods. After the appetite had been satisfied a patients feel stings of remorse and takes laxatives or enforces vomiting. The treatment demands staying in hospital under control of a psychiatrist and endocrinologist. Usually the patient needs to be fed or connected to the drip infusion. Nurses are obliged to pay attention and make sure that a patients eats regularly and doesn't use the laxatives or vomiting. People who suffer from bulimia have very low self-esteem, they are emotionally unstable and constantly on a diet. They also pay much attention to what people think about them. If the disease is diagnosed early enough it can be treated and doesn't have to thread patient's life.

Symptoms:


anemia (red blood cells deficiency)
edema
menstruation disorders
reduced libido
sadness
scant menstruational bleeding
skin discoloration
thirst, increased
vomiting
white, pale skin
