/ Alopecia Areata

Description of disease:
 Alopecia Areata - a genetic skin disease resulting in hair loss on scalp. It is characterized by bald patches which may lead to total baldness (skin in the area is not inflamed).
It is a common disease which affects both men and women. Alopecia areata can result in total baldness of scalp or other body areas.
There is no cure for alopecia areata yet, but hair sometimes return without any reason.
